Is there an easy and/or quick way to find out, which editor has previously been used to design a given website, that an administrator has bought and taken over from somebody else (as in the complete design of the page etc)?

When changing product images for our WordPress site under products, the page renders in the following faulty way…

    …exposing code from Visual Composer.

The issue here is, that we believe that the website design between the shortcode in the top and bottom renders the squares super large (contrary to what the size of the squares on our website usually is) due to the fact, that they are also all part of the Visual Composer plugin (since the last two shortcodes in the bottom close a row and a column).

Could anyone shed light on this, please?

Thanks in advance for any help given.

I recommend reporting the issue at https://www.ads-software.com/support/plugin/visualcomposer/ so the plugin’s developers and support community can help you with this.

Hi and thanks for getting back.

That’s not really, what our question was about. Our question was if it was possible to somehow attain information easily on what editors are currently being used for which pages on our site and if there are mutiple ones in use at the same time.

Ie. there are internet-based services, which can scan a given website and tell the owner which technologies were being used to build that site.

We are looking for something similar, just that in this case, it should be a tool or website that scans our site and reports back and displays a list of editors, plugins etc. which are currently in use.

We are looking forward to a reply.

Oh, you don’t need anything fancy to do that, you can just use your browser’s view source or inspect element. Most plugins load styles or other resources like images upfront from their plugin directory, and that would be the plugin’s name, the same goes for the theme of course. And most page builders or plugins that insert content have something of their name in their tags, especially div and span tags.

As for a site or service that neetly scans and declares that info, I’m not away of any like that.

@macmanx <–Thanks for the info and the feedback as well as the time you put into helping us out. Appreciated. We’ll have a look in the view source/inspect elements and see, what we can find.

Thanks once again and a good day to you.
