EBD server error stopping RSS

I have had this issue for months now. Anyone have a solution for this?

EBD seemingly works when downloading, but there is an internal server error in its PHP that shows in my RSS Feed.

Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to a member function getAttribute() on null in /var/www/hwaoconsulting.com/public_html/wp-content/plugins/eemail-before-download/includes/class-email-before-download-form.php:39

Since here is an error, my MailChimp RSS newsletter does not work, and that is how I found out that something was wrong.

My EBD Short code is: [email-download download_id=”14070″ contact_form_id=”7023″]

It is not because of wrong ” or ‘ marks, or additional spaces, in the short code, as some users have reported. I’ve checked.

Since the actual download works, I know that both the used id=”” values are correct.
A new post with only the short code also results in the same error in the RSS feed.

Is there anyone out there who can help?
