echo buddypress cover image and user info in sidebar

  • Hello I would like to create a some code for my sidebar that on the activity page shows the users name profile picture, friends and cover image in a box.

    I know I need to echo these things within a if logged in statement but I am pretty stuck figuring out what I need to input within the if statement and how to get the right user id

    Any ideas how I could grab the users cover image (if has one) and maybe the friends count and profile link?
