• I am looking for someone to evaluate my Ecwid store on my WordPress website. I have a decent amount of traffic, but not sales, and it seems Google is not finding my products. I have my entire store on a single page and wonder if this might be the problem. I am looking for someone reliable and trustworthy that might offer this service.

I have had this store for several years, and it has never performed the way I believe it should for the amount of time I spend working on it. I would sure like to find some help.

    Thank you.

  • Hi Julie,

We will be glad to help you. Our support team contacted you our Facebook page, via private message couple of days ago. Please check and get back to us if you have further questions.
We’ll copy our reply here as well.

You’re using our plugin on your WordPress. The plugin includes indexing feature. You can check how your store is indexed yourself: open https://www.google.com and type in this search string
    site:alpacameadows.com/the-farm-store
It will show you search results for the Ecwid store.

That your store is located within one page on the site, it is not an issue actually. Ecwid is an app that’s hosted and loaded from our servers, it functions independently from your site. Hence it occupies the space allotted for it on the page. Still it has all store pages. And they can be indexed too, just as a regular site.
Google developed a special mechanism for such solutions as Ecwid: Google AJAX indexing. And your Ecwid plugin supports it out-of-the-box, you can see the results.

We do understand your concern, surely it’s not good that you’re getting not enough sales, this needs attention and a solution. If you think an in-depth analysis of your site is required, you may want to hire someone for this task. We don’t provide such services, but we can give advice, recommend something how to improve your store and sales.

What we recommend at first place is to take SEO as one of the ways to track sales. SEO is to get traffic to site. It’s working in your Ecwid store as you can see.
And there’re other methods that are equally or probably even more powerful than SEO. We outlined them in this article:
    https://help.ecwid.com/customer/portal/articles/1161241-seo#FurtherSEO

Please also mind, if a user comes to your site it doesn’t guarantee a sale. The users should browse products, make a decision and complete the purchase. Your store pages are accessible right from the home page, all pages are there, showing product information, checkout is working. Thus it looks OK. So it would be much useful to understand why no sales. For that you need traffic statistics.
How many people visit your site, what pages the enter, how often, how they behave there, – this statistics shows a real picture of what’s going on, and, more important, knowing all these you will be able to decide about what can be improved/changed. You can get these stats using Google Analytics, it’s working Ecwid too: https://help.ecwid.com/customer/portal/articles/1170264-google-analytics

If you need further help, please contact us. Thank you.
