    Hi again,

I’ve also wanted to add that our developers are aware of the soft 404 issue and the ticket is reported to them, yet so far there’s no ETA on the fix.

As for your second question, apparently, this behavior is reproduced if Ecwid product browser is added to the site’s home page. We didn’t plan to fix it so far, yet I’ll pass on your feedback to our developers so that they could see how it can be improved. Could you please also share if you or your clients faced any difficulties because of the possibility to open Ecwid product pages on other site pages? Thank you!

Looking forward to hearing from you!

Heya! Thanks for the quick response! This will be a quick one from me as well and once I hear from my client I will follow up.

Personally, as a dev, I think it’s wrong to respond with a soft 404 to a slug/request just because it’s chronologically positive – I figure it needs to be queried against something to confirm the type of response it must be. Basically, just because there’s a pattern within a variable or a string it shouldn’t absolute to a true response. I hope that makes sense… I’m waking up from nap… but I think the right person will understand what I’m saying.
