What is the best way to modify/edit an entry that was already submitted using the Forminator form?

In the event, someone made a mistake, in their name spelling, phone number or even a calculation field, let’s say they entered 3 children to be a sponsored (on a Sponsorship form) instead of 2 that they intended to do, what is the best way to modify and correct those mistakes.

Normally when our form is submitted, it also triggers a number of notification emails too. So is there a way to update the form after it has been submitted either by the User or by an Admin. Of course the Admin can make that change in the database using PHPAdmin, but we want to provide the option for the User to come back and edit it.

    1. Essentially an option for the User to come back and edit their form and resubmit with corrections.

    2. we have a form that will collect a User’s name and other details for a Sponsor program. Can we use that information to automatically enroll a User using the Forminator form to the Website User account? We can ask them for a password, if that is also required.

    Hi @rpalex,

Trust you are doing good, and thank you for reaching out to us.

I am afraid, Forminator does not have an option to edit the submitted data from the frontend. However, Forminator API can help with developing a custom solution for this. Please find more about Forminator APIs in our documentation here: https://wpmudev.com/docs/api-plugin-development/forminator-api-docs/

With Forminator, you can create registration forms. I hope that helps with what you are looking forward to. Please find more details here: https://wpmudev.com/docs/wpmu-dev-plugins/forminator/#registration-and-login-forms

    Kind Regards,
