Edit author name

    Head to your profile under Users > My Profile.

    Next to “Display name publicly as” select just your first name from the dropdown menu.

    Thanks for your reply. I had already changed the “Display name publicly” to the name of my blog, however it still shows my first name and surname. I’d be grateful for any further suggestions on how to fix this.

    That’s odd – I’m not sure where your last name is being pulled from if that’s the case.

    I also just noticed that you’re on WordPress.com, not self-hosting. These forums are for folks running WordPress on their own hosting.
