Edit backend admin table?

try to modify template file at events-manager/templates/tables/events.php

to use template: https://wp-events-plugin.com/documentation/using-template-files/

Isn’t that the front end table?

I’m referring to wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=event

We use a standard WordPress function to generate that table. If you take a look at /events-manager/classes/em-event-posts-admin.php you’ll see two functions – columns_add and columns_output.

Further up on line 24/25 you’ll see the filters we use to run those functions when building the admin page.

Thank you very much! Is there an easy way to pull in category? Would I still use get_the_terms, or would it be a different function?

I added in the category name before location such as:

$columns = array_merge($id_array, $columns, array(
			'event-categories' => __('Category'),

Would it be something like:

case 'event-categories':
				echo $EM_Event->event-categories;
				break;

That returns 0 into the column…

I can’t believe I didn’t just try throwing my original code in. After seeing that post, I knew it would be that simple, as the only change is adding case ‘event-categories’, which I already had:

case 'event-categories':
$terms = get_the_terms( $EM_Event->post_id, 'event-categories');
foreach( $terms as $term ){ echo $term->name; }
				break;
