    Hi!

I am using the woo commerce form, and I tried all the options in the configuration and the edit settings menus, but I can do anything with the edit button in the front end of the page....
I have tried both pages in published mode (as someone recommended) and all possible variations, but nothing…
User can create ads fine, but after that… nothing they can do…
Whether they publish immediately or admin has to authorize, and even when they save as draft… edit button does nothing
The page stays in the dashboard…

If issue is not resolved… (Because a conflict with my theme or a plugin) can I hide the edit button? So users don’t complain about there is no editing allows (erase button works fine)

I found the way to hide the edit button.

whithin the settings of the plugin.. dashboard and general options…

but still, the ideal will be to have the edit button…

in dashboard settings, I have enabled they can edit as yes… and I didnt select, disable edit in pending…

    but nothing…

so for now I remove the edit option, but it will be great if you could help me.. thanks

    Hi @ikihinojosa

Edit button in the frontend not working

To let the users edit a post, few things are responsible
    1) Make sure the [wpuf_edit] page is created and assigned on the settings- https://ibb.co/ngSnjF6.
    2) Edit permission is enabled from the settings- https://ibb.co/gR1QmCx.
    3) You have the associate post form alive and assigned from the post backend meta-box- https://ibb.co/0mPh0kw for the created post (document reference)

Please ensure all the above points are configured for your site to make the WPUF Edit function work. Let me know if you need further assistance/information.
    Regards.

Ah!… before I go an check I have a question.

I’m almost sure the first two steps I did right…

I think I’m missing the third step, but..

That page I edited with Elementor to show a banner on top of the form, should I select that option that you mention in the WordPress page any way, or should I (if there is a way) to set that in Elementor.

    thanks in advance..

(any way I will go an check if I did)

    Hi again,

Should I select that option that you mention in the WordPress page any way, or should I (if there is a way) to set that in Elementor.

→ Set it from the WP page backend “WPUF Form Metabox”.

After following the above. If still, you face the same issue please reach us through our contact page or support[at]wedevs.com. As you are using “Elementor” we may need to check the environment closely.
    Thanks!

Hi… I went and set thing the way you suggested…

third step was missing, and Elementor seems to work fine.

    now…

Im using the Woocommerce form, and when I was pasting the shortcode [wpuf_edit] it was telling me that the Port was not valid, so looking in the web I found this shortcode (which was working fine for the display of the pages, but it was not doing the editing): [wpuf_dashboard post_type=”product”]

now that I follow your steps still was not working well, until I add both together: [wpuf_dashboard post_type=”product”]

    [wpuf_edit]

what is happening (which is fine) is that shows the products ion top of the page, and when you click edit… still the products and dashboard shows on top, but it opens a edit window at the bottom of the page

is there a problem if I put those two together? (seems fine)
