Edit Category Page

    Hi there,

    Is there a way to edit each Category (page) so that I can add custom content to each of those pages? That is, can I edit a Category page just like a Post or Page?

    I would like to customize the Category page(s) itself to make it visually appealing and add more content.

    Hi,

    Unfortunately, WordPress doesn’t let the user edit the category page like any classic page. The only thing you can add is a category description by going to Posts > Categories inside your WordPress dashboard. An Edit link appears when you hover your mouse over a category name. Click on it, and this will take you to the category edit screen, where you can enter a description.

    It would have been great if we could edit the category page. I hope future WP updates will take this into account.
