Edit category pages to show the category and subcategories links at its top

  • I want to show the subcategories links of the current opened category’s page on the top of that page, i.e just before the posts of that category (where the name of the Category is written, in bold).

    Also, i want to show the same subcategories links on the top of the subcategory pages of that category itself.

    can anyone help me with this ?

    I can edit the category page files to edit or add the text at the top but I want to add links there to that category. From permalinks page, I got that I can add something like /%category%/ to show category, so will this thing work in the category page top. Like, Can I add a link : mysite.com/%category%/ in the top of the category page ? Will that show the current category link automatically ???
