Edit Comments XT for WP 2.7

Hello all,
Apparently, Edit Comments XT is compatible with WordPress 2.7. How would one go about implementing the necessary code modifications to the new “wp_list_comments” function? Or is it not possible at all unless one uses the pre-WP 2.7 comment loops?
