  • Why do you want to change the HTML code? Are you only interested in the display of the headline? To make it smaller, you can control it with CSS.

It’s a seo thing, I need to change because of suggestions of the Microsoft bing optimization tool.

The html code is not even visible to visitors.

This dialog is not used anywhere in the frontend. It therefore plays no role whatsoever for what Bing tells you.

Hi @threadi. Thanks for your help, there is a website where this is shown in every post at the bottom with CSS that hides de code (display=’none’).

Even if is not recommended, Is there a way to do it anyway? Maybe using a filter or hook? Seems that all your answers suggest that I should not do this or this is not necessary, but I would like to learn how to do modifications without changing core files, I think that it will be very useful in the future.

I’m very surprised about that now. Can you show a link to the website? Maybe it is a different code in the frontend (which I just assume). If it is exactly the code of wp_link_dialog, then your theme might include it there. In that case you would have to ask the support of your theme.

Sure, this a post link: https://vivibosslink.com/dropshipping/

It appears in all the posts.

That makes no sense at all somehow. The code is included in a place in the frontend where you should be able to add a URL. Why should someone do that for you? I don’t see any reason for that.

So I guess that this integration of the function happens either through a customization, a plugin or through your theme Kadence. I would recommend you to deactivate all plugins first – if the integration then disappears, one of the plugins was to blame.

If it wasn’t, I would recommend you to contact the support forum of the theme you are using: https://www.ads-software.com/support/theme/kadence/

Because instead of changing the code I would recommend to remove it completely from the frontend.

Thanks, @threadi, I will check what plugin is doing it or if it is the theme and let you know.
