• Hi. Yesterday, I couldn’t create a new post or even edit new ones in our team’s WordPress because it only loads a blank page.

Today, I can access the full thing on an iPad and an Android phone but the issue remains when on desktop.

I tried Chrome and Torch but the blank page is still there. I upgraded my browser, rebooted my laptop, and cleared cache, etc. but the problem persists.

Our director and the tech guy tried helping me since the rest of the team can work on the posts jist fine. It’s just me on my laptop.

  • Sounds like there might be an issue with the configuration. I suggest removing anything related to WordPress from your laptop and performing a clean reinstallation.

Errors like this are logged. Check the error log on your server. If you can’t find the log, please contact your host.

Meantime, enable wp_debug and wp_debug_log and after an error, look at wp-content/debug.log to see if anything gets logged there. https://www.ads-software.com/support/article/debugging-in-wordpress/

You can also try this: Please attempt to disable all plugins, and use one of the default (Twenty*) themes. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of your troubles.

If you cannot access wp-admin, there are other ways to deactivate plugins.

Hi. Thank you for your answers. I sent the link to our director just in case the suggestions can help.

I didn’t install anything on my laptop but I was given a username and password to a site where we all work on. I’m still a bit clueless about everything but the basics so I’m not sure if I’m making any sense yet. ??
