Edit custom post tyoe service type a template

  • Hello all When the page link is pressed for the custom post type the page redirect to the content-single.php which is default news page single page tempalte..
    I would like to show up the custom template for my custom post type service type a template for single page view is this is possible.

    Yes, it is possible. Try to create a new page template file and name it as content-services.php. Copy the code in the content-single.php into it, then do your own adjustment. You must past it in the child theme, so the file will remain once the theme gets updated in the future.

    This is frustrating. How do I edit Services in WordPress Theme? Change where hyperlink points from website.com/services-view/xxx to website.com/abcdef/xxx
