Edit/Delete Forum Topic Message

Hi Team,
I had posted some queries on WordPress forum regarding a plugin some time ago and those topics contains some urls which i do not want to show publicly so now i want to remove those topics so that it will not be accessible to others, I have researched that a topic can not be remove from wordpress forum, so could you please guide me how can I now edit that topic to remove the sensitive url data or deleting topic is also fine.

Hi team,

Please note , the request for deleting the URLs as the customers’ URLs are exposed. The posts that needs to be deleted include:

https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/web-application-firewall-is-disabled-2/

I’m sorry, but that is only done in extreme cases. None of those topics or replies are an extreme case.

Search engine hits are never considered extreme. The post will not be edited or deleted.

Thanks for your quick revert. Please note though the topics are not extreme cases, the posts are causing a security issue because the customer’s domain name and email addresses are? mentioned. Hence the request to delete or provision to edit some of the details so that we can remove the sensitive information.

None of that is in anyway, shape or form a “security issue”. And you can contact the screenshot site and delete your own images.
