    Hi Dan
    Marius – again … never thought our roads are going to cross this soon again.

    RE: Document Gallery – that seems like a great plugin … but: Do you have functionality to View/Edit a MS-Office document – directly when you click on the thumbnail? The only option currently exist is to download it.

    Hi Marius,

    Unfortunately that functionality is well outside the scope of Document Gallery’s current goals. Generating thumbnail previews is the extent of current support for interacting with attachments.

    Using an additional 3rd party plugin, you could conceptually implement this by extending the document attachment page to embed a viewer of some kind. I worked on developing Attachments++ (https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/attachments-plus-plus/) a long time ago, but it hasn’t been touched in years and I have no idea if it is even compatible with modern versions of WP. You’re welcome to give it a go it you like.
