    Brilliant, thank you SO much!

Is there any way for a user to put their event on a temporary hold, or do they need to delete the class entirely for that?

Can you please tell me what .php page this is calling from, I’d like to edit it a little bit– thanks!

But I do want them to be able to publish their own events. Sometimes they go on vacation and they need to temporarily remove their classes from the calendar– is there a way for them to mark an event “temporarily suspended” and it’s removed from the calendar but still available to them in their list of classes? Or will they need to delete the whole class?

    Thanks!

I see now, maybe you can create a category for this and then using shortcode [events_list category=”-x”] where -x is the event categories id of your hold-category (-x means that the event with x category should be excluded from the list)

This isn’t possible without custom coding something specific. If a user edits an event in any way and they don’t have publish rights, it gets marked as pending and is not displayed until re-approved.
