I’m trying out Photonic for the first time. I added a Photonic Gallery (Source: Flickr) to a blog post and published it. I tested it and it works. I would like to edit this existing block, after clicking on the block to edit it, it seems I have to go through all the steps over again:

    • Choose Gallery Source
    • Choose Type of Gallery
    • Pick your album
    • Pick Your Layout
    • Configure Your Layout
    • Update Gallery

All I would like to do is configure the layout of the existing Photonic Gallery.

Do I really have to go through each step every time I want to edit an existing gallery?

    Thanks.

Yes, because Photonic has no way of knowing which aspect of your gallery you want to edit: do you want to edit its content, or, do you want to edit its layout? Note that unless something is broken, all your previous selections should be pre-selected, and you shouldn’t have to reselect anything.

@sayontan Thank you. I didn’t realize the actual album was pre-selected as there seems no indication.

    Regards.

The album should show a blue border if selected – is that not happening in your case? Or are you saying that the highlighting is not discernable?

Yes, I do see the blue border for the selected Flickr album.

    Thank you.
