Edit Fieldtype

  • Hello.

    Is there any way in changeing custom fieldtypes, after they have been created and already used ?
    Couldn’t find a way, except adding a new custom field with a new metakey.

    I dont care to dig into the backend files or the database. I guess its somewhere stored, and would be very happy to know where, so i can change some custom fieldtypes. eg from textarea to textblock.

    Hi @lpion,

    Unfortunately, there is no option to change custom fieldtype and metakey after you’ve created it. We do not recommend doing any changes to the DB.
    I suggest creating a new field with the new meta.
