• First, to say that I am excited about your plugin and want to begin using this right away. I have just one immediate problem with this feature:
“A new column is added to the Edit Posts screen and the ability to filter by status”

Unfortunately, while I really welcome the addition of the the new column for filtering by status, your plugin has removed a modification that one of my other plugins has made – to add the much-missed “post id”:
    https://sivel.net/wordpress/simply-show-ids/

I use this extensively to reference specific posts when I am creating feature mash-ups in various hub pages of my site. Without it, there is a lot of extra work to dig out the post ids.

Is there any easy way for me to adjust the configuration so that your new column is added but not at the expense of my precious “ID” column?

    Many thanks,

    Paul

    Hi Paul,

I just tested Edit Flow with Simply Show IDs and had no problems. Even when filtering by status I still see the SSID column with post ID in the last spot. Which list view are you looking at that is “corrupted”?

    Thanks,
    Scott

Hi Scott – Thanks so much for getting back to me.

The list view I am having this problem with is the Posts page at:
    domain/wp-admin/edit.php

To let you see how the page changes, I did a screen capture of the BEFORE and AFTER I activate the Edit Flow plugin. I have highlighted in yellow what each plugin adds as a new column – and marked with a red arrow where the Edit Flow plugin appears to prevent the ID column from showing. Hope this helps…

Posts pages BEFORE Edit Flow is activated

Posts page AFTER Edit Flow is activated

It’s really odd we are experiencing different things. I have taken a few additional steps to try to fix:

    – upgraded WordPress to latest version; 3.0.5
    – deactivated both plugins and then reactivated in the same order you will have done – namely, Edit Flow first and Simply Show IDs second

Unfortunately, this didn’t make any difference – happy to try anything else you can suggest?

    Best,

    Paul

    Hi Paul,

Is this on a Multisite install?

    Thanks,
    Scott

    Hi

Just a standard single-site WordPress install.
