I can no longer edit my theme’s footer in editor for my desktop theme. WordPress stopped allowing us to do that a couple of theme updates ago.

I go to customization for my 2012 desktop theme, and there is no footer to edit. My mobile theme, which I get through WPTouch Pro, has a footer to edit. Can I use the code in the mobile footer to add to my Custom CSS in my 2012 destop theme?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Someone please help. How do I change my footer content in my WordPress 2012 theme?

    Hello
    Meby in the widgets?

Just copy the footer file to your child theme and change it there.

I am creating a child theme in the next day or so. Will my footer file be included in the child theme?

    Thanks for your help.

Did you get it to work? All I’m wanting to do is to add a few lines, like a phone number and email to the footer and it won’t let me save ??

    Thanks!

According to the information found on the WordPress 2012 Theme page, the 2012 theme has footer widgets. I cannot find a footer widget listed in my widget selections in my 2012 theme. Where is it?

Also, I should be able to edit content in a footer widget if there is a footer widget, right?
