edit footer section to show background image properly

Hi there,

Can anyone help me how to fix my footer area to properly show the image I have there? Currently, my background image is unrecognizable. Is there a way to have my image float above those yellow green stripes? or remove that in order for my image there to be perfectly visible.

I don’t have that much knowledge in css. Please help.
