Edit Front Page button not working?

    Hi
    Am trying to edit my front page. The dashboard facility lists all my pages except the Front Page. Clicking on ‘Edit My Front Page’ doesb’t bring up the edit window with existing text.
    Am I missing something? I can edit all my other pages easily.
