Edit function got stuck with Widget content

    I used the Elementor Editor to add a new section into which I dragged a textbox. Within that I used the Text tab and inserted a Widget code. Now i got stuck – the page is no longer editable. If i go to editor the only thing that is seen is the content from the Widget but nothing else and there is no way to edit the page. What is wrong? for me this is now a disaster as I have a section that i want to take out and I also want to make other changes to the content box of the page and that is now impossible.
