Edit Gutenberg Block Template

    Hello,

    This is my first WordPress project and I’m using the pro version of the plugin on my page together with Elementor. Overwriting the list view inside Elementor with the custom templates works fine, but when clicking on a job position it redirects to the detail page template “Single Position” (single-personioposition.html).

    Is there a way to edit the templates of the blocks e.g. wp:wp-personio-integration/details? These seem to not exist as stand alone templates and seem to get generated by the plugin itself.

    First of all, if you have any questions about the functions of the Pro plugin, please contact us directly. According to the current guidelines, no questions about commercial products are allowed here in the forum: https://www.ads-software.com/support/guidelines/#do-not-post-about-commercial-products

    However, your question only concerns the Light version, as the Pro version does not add any functions in this regard. Each block use its own ServerSideRenderer. Some of them (such as the Details block) return HTML code that cannot currently be overloaded (no template is used for it). This will change in one of the next updates and is already in progress.

    Until then, you can overload the ServerSideRenderer via the hook https://developer.www.ads-software.com/reference/hooks/register_block_type_args/, provided you have the appropriate PHP knowledge. However, you will then be responsible for any output yourself.
