Edit in Colibri not working (cp_open_page_in_customizer is not defined))

  • Hello there,

    I’ve noticed that I can’t use the Edit on Colibri option anymore as when I try to edit a page nothing happens and I’m getting the following errors on the browser console:

    Error 1
    Uncaught ReferenceError: cp_open_page_in_customizer is not defined
    onclick https://***/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=page:1
    edit.php:1:1
    onclick https://***/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=page:1

    Error 2
    Uncaught SyntaxError: expected expression, got ‘)’ void();:1:5

    WordPress version: 5.6
    Colibri version: 1.0.185

    I’m almost sure this problem started after receiving the latest update but I’m still waiting confirmation on it.

  • Editor does not work after install theme. The editor keeps loading. So can not make changes

    Same problem. Edit in Colibri loads page and gets stuck on “Loading, please wait…” with spinning blue circle. Everything (plugins, WP version) is up to date.

    Update: Notice about Colibri Updates (in WP Dashboard) were not showing. Then, they were. Updated … then, got a notice on edit page: “Important: UPDATE BEFORE EDITING!” did that. Now it’s working.

    Hello,

    Can you go to WP Admin -> Updates -> Dashboard -> Check Again and see if you have the latest versions installed ?

    Hi there,

    I’ve just done it but everything is up to date and no new updates were shown. Just in case:

    WordPress 5.6
    Colibri WP 1.0.81
    Colibri Page Builder 1.0.186

    Can you confirm these versions are the correct ones?
