• Can’t find a prior post on this. I’ve been working on my site for months. I can sign on through Bluehost OR WordPress. Usually then, when I click “visit site” I end up on the site with the black ‘edit/etc’ slim dashboard menu at the top of the page. This is still the case, on ALL the menu options EXCEPT the home page. It just happened within the last few days. I usually use Elementor if that’s of interest. On all the menu options (about, portfolio, contact, etc the black slim menu bar appears to allow editing at the top, it’s ONLY the ‘home’ one it does not. Frustrating)

I called Bluehost and they say they have no help, I need to contact a “professional web designer”. It’s been working since February just fine, it’s clearly some small issue either with a plug-in or their hosting site, but all my plug-ins are updated and I don’t know how to fix the issue. Any ideas?

I have screenshots I can load to clarify, but I’m not sure how to do that.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • First you go to WordPress Dashboard. And Left side you see Users,

Then you go: Users>Profile. Click on Profile and scroll down, then you see toolbar. You enable it toolbar. And then click on update profile.

And Now go to your site & refresh the page. Now You can see admin bar is showning.

    Thank You

Thank you so much! Did an update cause that? It has worked all this time before. (And now I know how to fix it, I so appreciate that!)

I have a similar problem, but this did not work. I still don’t get the toolbar on the front page.

The toolbar was not enabled, so the admin bar did not show.

Its my pleasure. Thank You Too ????
