find code for customizr version up to 3.1 but does not work for me in version 3.2

how can a newbie like myself edit or remove the footer credits. i’m sure there is code for this. can you provide it so that i simple have to copy/ paste? high preference to paste code in css in customizr’s advanced option.

for the rest i can only say that the setup of a website in customizr is pretty straightforward for someone who has no background, no expertise and no experience in creating a website. as soon as i have this footer issue out of the way i will create another one. with customizr of cours.

So I did what you said:

    /public_html/wp-content/themes/child/functions.php

But no child theme to activate. Would this theme actually be called child? Or do I need to ‘re-activate’ customizr?

    It works!

I don’t know what I did differently but I activited the child theme and it works. You’re the best. Thanks!

Well, but in that child should also contain the style.css, I said:

    child
    |- style.css
    |- functions.php

    Is the style.css there?

    You’re welcome ??

    Hello MPBayo,

A tip, I have done it all by myself, I haven`t dowloaded the child from the web.

    ??

Most probably that is the reason. ??

Can you start from scratch and re-install your theme?
Then please download the child theme linked in the thread and remove it as described here.

It is recommended to start your own thread, even if the problem you have is similar to this one.
You can include link to this one if you think it is relevant.

    Thanks,
    Ivan

    awesome!
