    Here is some further details that might help you:

    By creating a “Post Type Template”, have a look at: https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Post_Type_Templates, you can further customize the layout of press releases (e.g. adding a sidebar or other layout).

    You would have to create one or both of the following files in your current theme directory:

    archive-nooz_release.php
    single-nooz_release.php

    Note that you may still need another plugin to target specific “Posts” to further tailor the sidebar content.
