Edit Page not loading

  • Hi, I am facing an issue with the ‘edit page’ section of my website. The front end part works perfectly. But the edit page (not post) section of any page refuses to load. Sometimes its completely blank, sometimes it loads partially and sometimes (after hitting refresh a couple of times) it loads fully for a few seconds and then goes blank again. I have tried deactivating all plugins but this did not help. I have tried using a different theme. I have contacted my hosting partners but there is no issue there either (I have also increased my post size limit to 90Mb for what its worth). I have cleared my website cache and also tried deleting my browser cache. I have tried using multiple machines and also tried different browsers. None of the above seems to help.     The site url you provided is not responding. Encountering with Connection timed out error please look at this.

    And may be the problem you are facing is due to the improper installation of WordPress.

    Having same issues after updating to 4.9.6… there is something with the TinyMCE – cant save some posts not even settings/options..

    This is a recent development and so it cannot be due to improper installation of WordPress. This issue popped up randomly one day. My website was working fine before that. I am facing the same issue on another website which is hosted on another hosting service and has a totally different theme. I have made no major changes to my current website in terms of adding themes, installing plugins etc. The only changes that I have been making are to update pages and adding more content in terms of text and images. A lot of others are facing the same issue, mainly after the last update.
