Sorry to come back to you again, but I made the changes and what I now see is that Woocommerce does not translate the form any more

Is there a way to solve this issue?

Thanks for getting back to us.

You can change the text by using a free translation plugin like Loco Translate. This will allow you to find the word/phrase and change it to be what you’d like.

Yes, thank you. I know that and I have editted the text because I saw that Woocommerce was no longer translating. So, now that I found out this sympton my concern is if editting the text in those php files can cause any further problems.
For instance, unexpected problems in any areas of MyAccount.

Please clarify.

Custom translations should not affect the core files but you may want to make a full backup first. More info at Backing up WordPress content.
