• Hi,

On a standard WP installation, I have normal stuff and very few plugins (statpress & user photo). For some reason though, when I add a new post or edit one, the box to put the text into (and the title box above) is extremely shortened. It’s about 250 pixels wide. This has been tested and occurs on FF3, Opera, IE7.

The strange thing is, the dashboard looks fine, 100% width as normal. The settings page also has the same problem, being limited to somewhere around 600 pixels width.

Any known issues with this? I’d really appreciate the help, client is getting on my ass about it and I’m going bald pulling hair out…

I’ve tried disabling all plugins, no luck.

    Richard

    No-one has come across this?

Is just editing the admin css file the only possible solution?

Never seen this before myself. About the only thing I can suggest is re-uploading the wp-includes and wp-admin directories in case there’s a corrupted file somewhere.
