those are functions, they, as they are used above, ie:

wp_register() and edit_post_link(); are in nearly all the theme files. I say nearly because i cant speak in absolutes.

Look at the example:

<?php edit_post_link('edit', '<p>', '</p>'); ?>

wp_register() cant be changed that way:

So if you want to change the text you will need to locate the function within the core files and edit it accordingly.

Mhmm, thanks for those. I want to edit the text of the register function and that’s what I was asking in the topic, where the file is and what it’s called, cause I can’t find it anywhere.

I suggest getting a copy of a decent “grep” app for Windows — like wingrep (https://www.wingrep.com). That will allow you to search for strings inside multiple files.

Once you have that installed, you will be able to search for the string wp_register and see where it is defined, and edit it accordingly
