edit post page breaks with polyfill error

    Since the original thread is said to be unresolved, I would like to follow up a way that this symptom was reproduced which is using a Custom HTML type block when composing content but your provided HTML is malformed, e.g. instead of closing out with a </div> tag, the tag used was <div>. The best way to prevent this from happening in the future without any fixes from WordPress team is to load the edit page on a separate browser tab. If the 2nd edit tab doesn’t load (white screen), revert changes on the original tab.

    However, if you do not have the original working edit tab and you don’t have direct access to the database (e.g. you’re a nontechnical user), the only way to fix the issue is to trash the page and rebuild the page from scratch but be very careful next time to only compose well-formed HTML code into a Custom HTML type block.

    Perhaps this is a bug that can be fixed in future WP versions?
