I figured out that due to this plugin Product Edit Page no longer works properly. Clicks on many buttons/links don’t work and some sections disappeared.

If I disable this plugin everything works as expected.

    WordPress version 5.7.1
Current theme: Market Theme (version 1.0.0)
Current plugin: Facebook for WooCommerce (version 2.4.0)
    PHP version 7.0.12

    Error Details
    =============
An error of type E_PARSE was caused in line 6 of the file /opt/bitnami/apps/wordpress/htdocs/wp-content/plugins/facebook-for-woocommerce/includes/Products/GoogleProductTaxonomy.php. Error message: syntax error, unexpected 'const' (T_CONST), expecting variable (T_VARIABLE)

  • Same issue here, cannot edit product page, if I disable your plugin, it works. WordPress also reports that there is an error with Facebook for WooCommerce.

    Hi there,

The problem is a result of using an old version of PHP. Please update PHP to 7.4 with your web host. We’ve also applied a fix to Facebook for WooCommerce, so update it to 2.4.1 as well.

    Hi @iyurinok,

    Thanks for letting us know.

I’m going to mark this as resolved now. If you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.

    Best,

This issue occurs again: cannot edit product, if I disable your plugin, it works.
Updated to PHP 7.4 as you recommended.

Also received this from WP: WordPress caught an error with one of your plugins, Facebook for WooCommerce.

    Hi @miata2!

Can you please go to WooCommerce>Status>Logs and open the logs dropdown selector (at the top right side of the page) to see if you can find any logs that start with the “fatal-errors-” name? If that’s the case, please open the latest one and share its contents with us here.

This will give us a better understanding of the errors that you’re getting.

    Thanks,
