• On the user’s account page (using short code [pmpro_account] ) the information generated about a user…

    My Account
    Username:
    Email:

The links under that section that say “Edit Profile” and “Change Password” do not work. They are linked to https://mydomainname.com/wp-admin/profile.php but redirect to https://mydomainname.com/shop/my-account/ with a 404 error page.

Under wp-admin/admin.php?page=pmpro-pagesettings I assigned the 7 pages and double checked that they all have the correct short code.

I tried refreshing the permalinks just in case.

EDITED: I also started disabling some plugins and some how got the links to work but seem to go to the WooCommerce shop… Is this right? (It a front end view/page giving me options to change billing account and shipping account, and I’m wondering why the membership plugin needs a shipping address?!?).

When I disable WooCommerce and click on the “Edit Profile / Change Password” links I get taken to the WordPress back end ‘user’ screen.

    Now what???

  • Do you have Theme My Login plugin installed
    https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/theme-my-login/

Go to Theme My Login –> Redirection, and under subscriber enter the URL that you want members to go to when logging in.

Go to Theme My Login –> Themed Profiles, and check the “Subscriber” role under themed profiles and restrict admin access. (NOTE if you check Administrator here you can lock yourself out of the dashboard.)
