Edit Round – Team vs. Team Mode Doesn’t Show Players

  • Want to start off by saying what an awesome plugin you’ve built.
    I’m playing around with the free version at the moment, but plan on purchasing pro if I can get everything working.

    I’m creating a website for a golf league. They play Four-Ball Stroke Play, which means we need to track which team won the round AND we want to track the individual players’ scores for each round. Is that possible? I see the option to select Team vs. Team when setting up an event, but under the scorecard’s “Player” column, I don’t see any players. I also don’t see any meta box dedicated to selecting players playing in the round.

    As for your issue, yes, this is certainly possible.

    Did you create players? Once you do that, you just need to assign them to a team and season, and they should show up in your event creation screen. You can check these vidoes for a detailed tour:

    I ended up purchasing the pro version of SportsPress to see if that fixed my issue. It unfortunately did not.

    Here are the steps I took to try and fix:
    1. I assigned a Current Team to each player
    2. I assigned each player to a Player List
    3. It looks like you can’t assign an individual player to a team, so I assigned a player list to a team.
    4. I went into my round (event) and selected Team v. Team layout.
    5. I scrolled to the Scorecard section and still only see “Par” and “Total” rows for each team. When I enter the Par number for each team, it auto-populates the “Total” row.
