    Hi,
Thank you for using my Magical Posts Display plugin.
Yes, You can easily change the button style.
Please go list style tab and scroll down bottom then select the button style link.
Now refresh your site I hope now you will see the change.
    Thanks again

Hello! Sorry, I should’ve been clearer. I do not want to change the button style. I want to control what shows up as the text for each post card.

    For example, instead of

“August 4, 2021 – Inside Higher Ed – A research brief from the Hope Center for College, Community, and Justice at Temple University found that nearly 7 percent of students self-reported that they had COVID-19. Read more.”

followed by a button, I want it to say:

“August 4, 2021 – Inside Higher Ed – A research brief from the Hope Center for College, Community, and Justice at Temple University found that nearly 7 percent of students self-reported that they had COVID-19.” followed by a button.

Is there an option that would allow me to manually enter what I want the text to be or is there a change I can make to the code that would have it use the text I enter as each post’s excerpt as the card text?

Sorry, my plugin only shows posts text and an extra read more button. You can’t add extra text with this plugin.
Now I am sorry but we will try future.
Thank you for trying with my plugin.

Hello! That’s fine, but I think this could work if I could edit the plugin files to use get_the_excerpt() instead of get_the_content() for the card text. Would you be able to tell me which files I’d need to make this edit to and if there are any other changes I should make besides the function name?

    Hi,
Now you can easily solve this issue by using our Elementor addons.
    Thanks
