edit text on Virtual Gift Card

  • Using your Gift Cards plugin on a clients site, and so happy with how easy it is to use on both front end and back end, so thank you!!
    My client wants to sell Gift Cards on her website, but she doesn’t have an online shop for clients to use the vouchers – she is a Massage Therapist.
    So we are wondering if it is possible to remove the text at the bottom of the Virtual Gift Card email :
    “To use this gift card, you can either enter the code in the gift card field on the cart page or click on the following link to automatically get the discount.”
    or change it to something more suitable?
    I tried looking at the ‘send-gift-card.php’ file, but I couldn’t see anything there that I could change (sorry, I’m not really a coder!)

    Indeed you have multiple solutions.
    You can override the template located in:

    /wp-content/plugins/yith-woocommerce-gift-cards/templates/yith-gift-cards/ywgc-gift-card-template.php

    Or use this filter:

    yith_ywgc_email_description_text

    With both methods you will be able to achieve it.
