If you’re familiar with coding, you could for example create a child theme and then modify the image dimensions as you prefer. Here you can find more information: How to customize image dimensions in WordPress.

In case you’ve already uploaded images that meet at least the minimum requirements, you could also make use of plugins to manually crop the images as you like, for example: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/manual-image-crop/
