Edit this Entry Link

When I go into my site online and add “wp-admin” to the end of the domain link, I enter the edit mode. After making changes and updating, I go back to my site and always see an “Edit this entry” link at the bottom of the page. This scares me as I imagine someone out there having the ability to edit my WordPress site. How do I remove the “Edit this entry” link?
