Hi, I am trying out your plugin on localhost. On the edit your listing page all of the form fields are very small, typically only approximately 20 to 25 characters. I have tried a few themes including the themes that come with WP 4.0, the only theme that I have had any success with is Responsive by CyberChimps. The theme I would really like it to work with is Artificer by Woo.

Please can you help, I have tried disabling various plugins.

    Hi Bob,

Sounds like you just need to change the font size for the body text. It’s not a bug or anything–just how each theme chooses to render things. That’s easy enough to do with custom CSS. Here is an article about how to use custom CSS with Business Directory in a way that doesn’t get overwritten on upgrade of BD: https://businessdirectoryplugin.com/support-forum/faq/how-to-use-custom-styles-with-bd-2-1/

That should help get you what you need in any theme you want to use.

    Thanks for your swift response.

could you please let me know which css rule I have to put into the custom css, as I have looked through all of the css for business directory and am non the wiser.

I have also tried disabling the sidebar, which gives me a full size page, but this also makes no difference at all.

If required I could upload the site to the web and give you the address.

    Hi Bob,

There’s no “blanket CSS fix” I can provide here–it depends very much on your theme and what it looks like.

If the CSS fix isn’t immediately obvious for you, my best suggestion to get this handled appropriately would be to hire WPCurve to help you out here—they’re WP experts and for $69, you can’t beat their “unlimited 30 min tasks” in a month. This strikes me as something they would definitely be able to fix quickly and easily. They really get these kinds of issues. Here’s how to contact them: https://wpcurve.com
