Edited post shows up as comment for moderation

  • I’m a bit confused.

    Sometimes when I edit a post I end up receiving an email about a comment waiting to be moderated on that particular post.

    When I go to the adminpanel to check the comment, it’s the complete post that I just edited – WITH the edits.

    The post shows up in my blog edited as well.

    This almost always happens when I have a lot of links in the post, that wordpress tries to ping. It sits there for a looong time and then it comes back.

    Anyone else seen this?
