    Hi,
I’ve been following other post to hide the Author, Date and category from posts. I edited the single.php field and commented (/* code */)the bits I didn’t want to run – I didn’t want to delete anything.
My problem is that I was testing by commenting different parts of the code and every time I had to open a different post because the previous changes were ‘saved’ in the post I viewed after last changes.
    For example:
    1. I edit single.php and comment the bit of code to hide the Author
    2. Check post 1 and it doesn’t show Author – OK!
    3. I edit single.php and comment the bit of code to hide the category
    4. I refresh post 1 and nothing changes, only Author is hidden.
    5. Open post 2 and changes apply, doesn’t show Author or Category.

Why new changes don’t apply for Post 1? I’ve tried in different browsers & computers, emptying the cache..

Any suggestion? Does it make any sense?

    Thanks

    Irene.

Your browser has its own cache which saves the state of things you view. Whenever you modify theme files like this, make sure to clear your browser’s cache before checking your work.

    Hi MacManX,
I did that yesterday before posting here. I even tried a few hours after from another browsers and another computers and still was the same. But it seems to be working fine today. Maybe it just needed some time…

Thanks for your response anyway ??
