  • Well, if templates4all.com has the themes they are advertising, they should be able to edit the file in question to remove your link.

templates 4 all insist that the link is embedded in the “engine”, which they didn’t design, and simply sent me here.
    Help!

Are you automotoportal? It looks like that image is hotlinked to a google cache of your image instead.

And yes, it is templates4all doing that because it’s their test posting linking to that image, not the theme doing it.

However, if it’s a different link you’re talking about, then you kinda need to clue us in.

It’s the link right at the very bottom that says Property Umbria.
But two people at Templates 4 Us have simply fobbed me off and told me to go elsewhere.
I’m at my wits’ end here: there are people in our company who won’t pay this month’s mortgage if we don’t get these links off and the Google penalty lifted.

Does t4a have a customer service number?

If not, you could try and contact their hosting provider and explain that your attempts to remove the issue have not been responded to.

How did you link get on their in the first place?

    Thread Starter 748573

No customer services number. There’s a billing dept number which no-one ever replies to. I’ve sent an email to their support department, so we’ll see.
How did my link get on there? some moronic, black-hat SEO company whom I’ve now fired.

The Property Umbria link is part of the theme itself, not WordPress. We can’t help you, only t4a can fix it. And if they’re not willing to, then there’s probably very little you can do about it.
