  • At Appearance -> Widgets, do you see Footer 1, Footer 2, Footer 3 and Footer 4 widget areas?

    yes?

What happens when you drag a Text widget into them, add some text and save? Does they appear on the site?

Yes, now it does, but I just want it on my starting page (I have made it static). Now it is on all the other sites except that one. And I want it the oposite,

Hi Fredde33…. if I understand this correctly, your widgets are showing up on every page but you want them only on the front page (starting page)?

If so, you have a few options:

    1. Install the Advanced Text Widget plugin if you want only text widgets at the bottom. This lets you assign the widget(s) to a specific page, for example, the front page.
    2. Install a plugin called Dynamic Widgets. This lets you publish widgets to any page throughout your site for any widget.
    3. Install a plugin called Widget Logic. This one lets you add a conditional to a widget (at the bottom) that lets you publish to any page. For example, for the front page, the conditional tag would be: is_front_page()
