Hi, after the plugin update, the editing capability we set for a custom role stopped working. The settings below are what we have always used.

But it stopped working after the update. Using this setting allowed us to assign specific posts for users with a custom role to edit. We are now getting this error: ‘Sorry, you are not allowed to edit posts as this user’. If we enable ‘Edit Others,’ the error is gone. However, if we do that, the user will see all the posts, which we don’t want.

Here’s how we are giving access to users on each post:

Is there any other settings we need to check or update?

    Hi @sahsg29

    Thanks for using PublishPress.

Please let me know what PublishPress Capabilities and PublishPress Permissions version you are using, so we could investigate this further.

    Thanks,

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved. If you have any further questions, please reply again here, or you can start a new thread.

    Thanks,
