Editing "Follow" in top navbar

    What is the easiest way to remove/change the “Follow” text that can include buttons? I know I can go into the main template but I am currently using a child theme and would like to keep modifications when I update.

  • The right way would be to modify the en_US.po language file. To overwrite it, you need to copy the whole alx_setup function to your funcions.php and change get_template_directory to get_stylesheet_directory for the language folder.

    The other method is to overwrite sidebar.php directly with the child theme and modify the text in the template.

    Thanks just copied my sidebar.php into my child theme. Worked great. I look forward to customizing this theme!

    Is it possible to blind out the FOLLOW lable within the theme hueman only with or over a checkbox?
