Editing Footer

  • Hello,
    I have tried several times to see how i can edit the footer.
    I dont need all of the social media icons and I would like to put clickable links in the footer.
    Can you please advise as to how I can do this!!! This is really frustrating.

  • You can remove the social icons by going into Appearance->Customize->Social Icons & Links and then making sure that all of the fields have no content at all. If they have the default # in there, remove it and it should remove each of the icons.

    To add in your own clickable links, just create a custom menu with whatever links you want, then go to Appearance->Customize->Menus->View All Locations and then add in your newly created menu to the Footer Menu section

    Thanks for responding. Prior to me sending this email i did try the # thing and made sure nothing was there. All of the social media stuff is blank yet it iss till at the bottom of my page. This doesnt look good because the only icon that I need is Instagram. Please help!
